Climate Action: Thrive in 2035

Arizona’s Transportation Future

Transportation is the country’s largest source of GHG emissions, and electric and autonomous vehicles are the fastest way to reverse this trend. Provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act promise to reinvigorate the U.S. automotive industry, support good-paying jobs, and bring clean transportation to low-income households and communities. Ensuring that Arizona maximizes funding from this climate legislation will require governments, businesses, utilities, and communities to work together to implement ground-breaking partnerships resulting in a cleaner Arizona.
