Water is Arizona’s most precious resource and one of its greatest challenges. Join Arizona Forward on Wednesday, August 5, for Water: Rising to the Challenge, a breakfast conversation focused on the policies, partnerships, and innovations shaping Arizona’s water future.

This timely discussion will bring together leaders from across government, water management, conservation, and infrastructure to explore how Arizona is adapting to changing conditions while continuing to support economic growth, thriving communities, and long-term sustainability.

The program will feature opening remarks from U.S. Congressman Greg Stanton, followed by a moderated panel discussion led by Russell Smoldon, Chief Executive Officer of B3 Strategies, featuring Brenda Burman of Central Arizona Project, Leslie Meyers of Salt River Project, Chris Kuzdas of Environmental Defense Fund, and Tom Buschatzke of the Arizona Department of Water Resources.

Join us at the Stone House Pavilion at the Phoenix Zoo from 7:30–9:30 AM for breakfast, networking, and a thoughtful conversation on one of the most important issues facing Arizona today.

Join Arizona Forward and regional leaders from across Northern Arizona for an engaging half-day workshop designed to move beyond presentations and into meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and action. Taking place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:00 AM–1:30 PM at the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, this workshop will create space for participants to learn from one another, share ideas, and identify solutions that can be implemented locally. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The morning will begin with a regional briefing and panel discussion featuring leaders working on some of Northern Arizona’s most pressing issues. Participants will then break into facilitated small-group discussions focused on key topic areas, providing opportunities to share experiences, discuss challenges, explore innovative approaches, and identify practical next steps.

Whether you work in local government, business, education, utilities, planning, transportation, environmental stewardship, or community development, this workshop offers an opportunity to contribute your perspective, learn from regional leaders, and help shape a more resilient future for Northern Arizona.
