Helping Arizona Move in the Right Direction

Finding Solutions

Balancing our need to go places with the need to breathe clean air is one of Arizona’s greatest goals. Finding solutions that make a difference is the focus of the Air Quality & Transportation Committee.

Finding Solutions

Helping Arizona Move in the Right Direction

COMMITTEE PURPOSE

The Air Quality & Transportation Committee examines issues and opportunities in transportation, convenes public-private dialogue, makes legislative and policy suggestions and advocates for modernization of Arizona’s transportation methods and infrastructure.

FOCUS AREAS

  • Clean transportation solutions
  • Greenhouse gas and air pollution emissions
  • Responsible land use
  • Community, connectivity, and livability

Our committee members join other sustainability champions who share their concerns and passions for helping Arizona advance its transportation modes, management, and infrastructure. All transportation solutions address quality of life issues, ensuring the health, livability, and well-being for our communities — places where we can live, work, and play — not just today, but for generations to come.

Meetings take place online via Zoom on the first Wednesday of the month.

Air Quality & Transportation

Transportation needs are inherent in our society and, unfortunately, the industry produces the second largest source of greenhouse gas emissions. As a member of the Mobility and Air Quality Committee, we get to meet with other transportation businesses working towards bluer skies for the Grand Canyon State. – Allan Yang, U-Haul International
