Widespread adoption of clean transportation solutions, mass transit systems, and alternative transportation options could be transformative for Arizona, dramatically reducing greenhouse gas and air pollution emissions, lessening impacts of land use change, and increasing community connectivity and livability. The transportation committee comprehensively examines cutting-edge issues and opportunities in transportation, convenes public-private dialogue, makes legislative and policy recommendations, and advocates for modernizing Arizona’s transportation infrastructure. The committee meets on the first Tuesday of every month.
